The most important event in that period was the emergence of the Arab nationalist movement, a comprehensive movement and a harbinger of Arab unity. In Iraq, the Arab National Movement was formed as a result of several factors. The present research adopts a descriptive-analytical method in order to answer these questions: What factors influenced the formation of the Arab National Movement in Iraq? What developments take place? And in the end, what was the result? The article shows that in the second half of the nineteenth century, the Iraqi elite was formed under the influence of modern education in Ottoman schools. That group became the nucleus of Arab nationalists during the Young Turks’ rule. The policies of imposing the Turkish identity on the Arabs played a prominent role in arousing the sense of national identity and the unity of the Iraqi elite with the Arab National Movement. In response to the policies of the rulers of Istanbul, they formed nationalist groups and activities in Iraq’s cities in order to spread Arab nationalism. Their activities led to the preservation of the unity of the empire, but as the First World War progressed, the Iraqis also moved towards full independence from the Ottoman rule, which resulted in the participation of Iraqi officers in the 1916 Arab Revolt. At the end of the war, the most important result of the Arab National Movement in Iraq was the Sunni Arabs’ gaining power.}, keywords = {Iraq,Arab Nationalism,Young Turks,World War I,Arab Revolt,Al-Ahd,Great Iraqi Revolution}, title_fa = {تحولات جنبش ملی گرایی عرب در عراق (1921-1908م)}, abstract_fa = {کشور عراق در آغاز قرن بیستم میلادی بخشی از امپراتوری عثمانی و متشکل از سه ایالت بغداد، بصره و موصل بود. مهم‌ترین حادثه در آن دوره پیدایش جنبش ملی‌گرایی عرب، نهضتی فراگیر و منادی وحدت اعراب بود. در عراق جنبش ملی عرب بر اثر عواملی چند شکل گرفت. این پژوهش با روش تحقیـق توصیفی‌ تحلیلی و شیوه گردآوری اطلاعات از راه منابع کتابخانه‌ای سامان یافته است و به دنبال پاسخ به این سؤالات است که جنبش ملی عرب در عراق تحت تأثیر چه عواملی شکل گرفت؟ چه تحولاتی را طی کرد؟ و در پایان چه نتیجه‌ای از آن حاصل شد؟ نتایج پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که در نیمۀ دوم قرن نوزدهم میلادی طبقۀ نخبۀ عراقی تحت تأثیر آموزش‌های نوین در مدارس عثمانی شکل گرفت. این گروه در حکومت ترکان جوان به هسته ملیگراهای عرب تبدیل شدند. سیاست‌های تحمیل هویت ترکی بر اعراب نقش برجسته‌ای در برانگیختن حس هویت ملی و پیوستگی نخبگان عراقی با جنبش ملی عرب ایفا کرد. آن‌ها در پاسخ به سیاست‌های حاکمان استانبول دست به برپایی گروه‌های ملی‌گرا و فعالیت در شهرهای عراق در راستای گسترش ملی‌گرایی عربی زدند. منتهی فعالیت آن‌ها در قالب حفظ وحدت امپراتوری بود؛ اما براثر تحولات جنگ جهانی اول اعراب عراق نیز به سمت استقلال کامل از حکومت عثمانی حرکت کردند که نتیجۀ آن شرکت افسران عراقی در انقلاب عربی 1916م بود. در پایان جنگ مهم‌ترین نتیجۀ جنبش ملی عرب در عراق به قدرت رسیدن اقلیت عرب‌های سنی منادی ملی‌گرایی عرب بود.}, keywords_fa = {عراق,ملی‌گرایی عرب,ترکان جوان,جنگ جهانی اول,انقلاب عربی 1916م,جماعت العهد,انقلاب 1920م}, url = {https://jhss.ut.ac.ir/article_77220.html}, eprint = {https://jhss.ut.ac.ir/article_77220_80ed40bacbed547d9ea91a5b312ea2ad.pdf} }
