They accepted their declining destiny and the supremacy of the West. The situation remained the same and unchanged until in the late nineteenth century the Sunny Empire or Japan began a wave of modernist reforms that culminated in the Meiji period and resulted in the creation of an invincible force even against the Russian Empire, a It was a Western superpower. The question here is what did the Iranians know about the developments in Japan, what was the source of this knowledge, what effect did it have on Iranian thought and social or even economic developments, and what was the reaction of the Japanese people and government to the new developments in Iran. The article concludes that with the arrival of the Japanese news by Reuters, a wave of revolutionary and proto-Pan-Asiaism was formed in Iran, which resulted in a constitutional revolution while the Japanese did not know either Iran or the political situation of both countries, they did not pay attention در قرن نوزدهم کشور دولت علیه ممالک محروسۀ شاهنشاهی ایران، همانند دیگر دول و جوامع آسیایی (که اکثریت ایشان استقلال خود را ازدست دادند) بخاطر موقعیت استراتژیک خود تحت فشار دول امپریالیست به خصوص بریتانیای کبیر و روسیه قرار گرفت و مردم ایران به­مانند بسیاری دیگر مردم آسیا سرنوشت رو به زوال خود و برتری غرب را پذیرفتند. شرایط به­طور یکسان و بدون هیچ تغییری باقی ماند تا آنکه در اواخر قرن نوزدهم امپراتوری آفتاب تابان یا ژاپن موجی از اصلاحات مدرنیزم را شروع کرد که در عصر مِیجی به اوج خود رسیده و نتیجه آن ایجاد نیرویی شکست ناپذیر حتی در برابر امپراتوری روسیه، یک ابر­قدرت غربی بود. در اینجا مطرح می­شود که ایرانیان چه شناختی از تحولات ژاپن داشتند، منبع این شناخت چه بوده، چه تاثیری بر اندیشه و تحولات اجتماعی یا حتی اقتصادی ایران گذاشت و عکس­العمل مردم و دولت ژاپن نسبت به تحولات جدید ایران چه بود. مقاله این­طور نتیجه­گیری نموده که با رسیدن اخبار ژاپن به وسیله روزنامه رویترز موجی از روحیۀ تحول­خواهی و پروتو پان آسیاییسم در ایران را شکل داد که نتیجۀ آن انقلاب مشروطه بود درحالی­که ژاپنیان یا ایران را نمی­شناختند یا بنابر شرایط سیاسی هر دو کشور توجهی نشان نمی­دادند. https://jhss.ut.ac.ir/article_83050_f92e2f4cc145be4d8e9f07fc5057fbac.pdf
