Journal Article 2022 09 24 Over time, roads have been identified as the vital economic arteries of nations, as they have been one of the fundamental factors and domains in the development of nations. The majority of the research conducted on roads focuses on the economic, political, and military functions of roads, as do most historians and researchers. The Persian Gulf does not deviate from this norm. In addition to its function as a trade corridor, the Persian Gulf has also played a fundamental and important role in the realm of culture. This study endeavors to answer the fundamental question of what impact the Persian Gulf has had on the evolution of Iranian culture and customs. It appears that the expansion of trade based on the tolerance of Iranian merchants and the travels of religious and spiritual missionaries and other Iranian groups formed through the Persian Gulf paved the way for the formation of Iranian communities outside of Iran's borders and the spread of Iranian culture. This issue crystallizes into topics including Persian language, customs, and Iranian art and architecture. This topic has been investigated using library resources and a descriptive analyticmethod. راه‌ها در گذر زمان از عوامل و زمینه‌های اساسی در توسعۀ کشورها بوده‌اند و از آن‌ها به‌عنوان شاهرگ حیاتی اقتصادی ملت‌ها یاد شده است. تأکید مورخان و پژوهشگران به‌طور عمده بر نقش‌های اقتصادی، سیاسی و نظامی راه‌ها بوده و بیشتر پژوهش‌های صورت‌گرفته درمورد راه‌ها، دربارۀ این موضوعات است. خلیج‌فارس نیز از این قاعده مستثنا نیست. این در حالی است که خلیج‌فارس به‌عنوان یک شاهراه تجاری، نقش اساسی و پررنگی در زمینۀ فرهنگ نیز ایفا کرده است. این پژوهش در پی پاسخگویی به این سؤال اساسی است که خلیج‌فارس چه نقشی در بازنشر فرهنگ و سنت‌های ایرانی تا پایان دورۀ صفویه در مشرق زمین داشته است. به‌نظر می‌رسد جاذبۀ فرهنگ ایرانی و گسترش تجارت مبتنی بر تسامح و تساهل بازرگانان ایرانی و مسافرت‌های مبلغان مذهبی و معنوی و دیگر گروه‌های ایرانی که از طریق خلیج‌فارس شکل گرفتند، زمینه‌ساز استقرار جوامع ایرانی در فراسوی مرزهای ایرانی و گسترش فرهنگ ایرانی شد. این مسئله در قالب موضوعاتی مانند زبان فارسی، آداب و رسوم و همچنین هنر و معماری ایرانی متبلور شده است. در این پژوهش با تکیه بر منابع کتابخانه‌ای و با روش تحلیلی توصیفی به بررسی موضوع پرداخته می‌شود. https://jhss.ut.ac.ir/article_93832_b8b4e5f90c31944cc43fdadfd87bcd00.pdf
