چکیده

بر خرابه‌های ناشی از حملات مغول، یک کانون تمدنی فعال، به کوشش عالم برجسته، ریاضیدان و منجم مشهور و فقیه و متکلم شایسته، حضرت خواجه‌نصیرالدین طوسی بنا شد. ویژگی‌های خاص این مرد دانشی، سبب شکل‌گیری این کانون تمدنی گردید. نقطة درخشان این کانون، رصدخانة مراغه بود که طالب‌علمان و دانشمندانی از سراسر عالم اسلامی در آنجا فرود
می‌آمدند. در این مقال، پس از بیان کلیاتی دربارة این کانون تمدنی، فهرستی از زبدگانی که برای دیدار با خواجه و بهره‌گیری از تحقیقات آثار موجود در مراغه به این شهر آمده‌بودند، ارائه شده است.

On the ruins caused by the Mongols’ invasions, a dynamic centre of civilization was built by the outstanding scholar, famous mathematician and astronomer and praiseworthy jurisprudent and theologian, Khw?jeh Nasir al-Din T?si. The characteristic features of this man of knowledge prompted the establishment of this centre of civilization. The shining section of this centre was the observatory of Mar?ghah that attracted students and scholars from all over the world.
After expressing some generalities on this centre of civilization, this paper will provide a list of dignitaries who had come to Mar?ghah in order to meet Khw?jeh and benefit from the research findings that were existed in that unique center.
